The worm wins

Created on scratchbord with a watercolor and ink background.   playful bird gets wrapped up with a plastic six-pack ring and is unable to eat the worm. If we don't become better stewards of our planet we may just lose it.

"... by any other name" Is an organic representation of abstract impressionist style orange and blue flowers.There is a whimsical blend of melded colors of orange, purple, turquoise and implied lines of black and gold. You can almost see the delicate flowers nodding in a slight breeze against the mellow blue and purple background.
